Position Summary:
Accountable for country strategies and activities required meeting the annual planned quotas by implementing effective sales programs/actions. Major responsibilities include new account/market development, planning and implementation of products and promotions, training sales representatives and distribution, providing technical sales assistance, market analysis, market intelligence, strategic guidance and communication within the company as appropriate.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Revenue Plans/Market Share Growth (50%)
Lead the country in preparing and implementing sales strategies required to achieve planned volumes and market share objectives. Work as required
with the marketing manager and respective business units. Act as a manager for the assigned products within the country.
A. Develop new market and new accounts through account managers and distribution channels.
B. Develop and implement plans and strategies to support distribution channels for planned volumes. Evaluate distributor conformance to product
authorization requirements.
C. Develop and implement plans and strategies to assist sales engineers in identifying and converting competitive accounts.
D. Assist in the coordination of information with local support personnel regarding application notes, product quality concerns and product updates.
E. Manage product launches and promotions.
F. Be knowledgeable in the application of Rockwell products and markets served. Ensure proper training of country and distribution personnel on
features/benefits, capabilities, performance, and application.
G. Prepare and ensure implementation of annual country sales plans for given SBU products.
H. Team and communicate effetely with other regions on projects requiring coordination.
I. Analyze current business levels against annual sales plans and initiate programs to achieve planned revenues.

2. Country Performance /Productivity (30%)
A. Assist country manager and marketing manager in selecting authorized distributors, systems integrators and signing them up.
B. Provide leadership and direction to company account managers and channels on assigned products with goal being self-sufficiency on all
products.
C. Assist and train account managers and all channels to provide all technical and commercial information required insuring that product meet application
requirements.
3. Marketing Activities (20%)
A. Responsible for direct communication with the business units on matters regarding technical and commercial information, new products, promotions,
competition, and the assistance required in the assigned geographical area.
B. Provide feedback to business units on their commercial and product performance and the requirements for improving customer satisfaction.
C. Responsible for appropriate information flow to the country and distribution personnel.
D. Analyze and communicate current market data and evaluate potential markets. Provide detailed analysis of market penetration data to the business units
as required.
E. Obtain relevant competitive information and communicate this data to appropriate country, distribution, and business unit personnel.
°æ·Â¿ä°Ç - Minimum of ten years experience in technical and commercial role.
- Possible prerequisites would include technical sales, commercial engineering, and/or technical specialist jobs and business management and people manger
role.
- Required broad technical and application product knowledge.

Individual should be effective at developing the skills of the country sales people and should be used by the sales force and distributors as a consultant to help determine the best approach for a particular issues. Experience handling multiple major project is helpful.
