Partner Acquisition Management
1) PURPOSE:
Execute the VS Partner Acquisition strategy in the territory, aiming at maximizing our coverage in the GEO-selected target Industries, by scaling up our new partner acquisition speed and new partner sales capacity, through a systematic approach of partner targeting, recruiting and on-boarding.

2) ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Contribute to define the Partner acquisition strategy in the GEO, leading to optimized regional coverage of core markets, and penetration of new industries and new domains.
Partners recruitment & on-boarding (initial period that a partner will be with us and fully under the responsibility of The Partner Acquisition Team/Person versus Partner Account Managers).
Support the on-boarding program for new partners until on-boarding criteria completion: partner resources on-board, partner sales/presales/operations/marketing enabled, opportunity pipeline developed to specified level.
Contribute to define the strategy & the Partners recruitment plan in the region.
Contribute to define & implement processes & tools to recruit & on-board Partners (Partners monitoring).
Support Partners to deploy their initial business plan.
Identify & qualify new potential Channel Partners: Global (PLM) or specialized in new brand, industry domain, or specific process.
Drive acquisition process through contractual signing and until on-boarding completion.
Manage DS Sales Partners initial contract (negotiation & closing)
Document & track acquisition process steps through DS standard processes and forecast management tools.
Identify (nominate for recruit) new partners for new industry penetration & new solution business

3) Deliverables
Identify and qualify best fit partners to fulfill the GEO 3Y coverage plan.
Deliver 3 success stories demonstrating the focus on quality of recruitment: why are these the best partners for DS?
Share passion and motivate new partner candidates for a strategic and long term partnership.
Deliver 3 success stories on the recruitment process and winning methods: what made us succeed in the recruitment phase?
Deliver on promise to new partners through formal, efficient and streamlined on-boarding.
Deliver 3 new partner testimonies declaring success of partnership: what makes DS the best partner?

4) KPIs
Reach defined 2012 recruitment target (nominal: 6 partners)
Reach defined 2012 on-boarding target (nominal: 4 partners)
Reach defined candidate pipeline target for 2013 (nominal: 12 candidate partners)
